Inktomi – is another engine that powers many of the Internets major search engines such as AOL, and MSN. You can submit your website to Inktomi through Positiontech.com. Positiontech charges $39 for the first URL and $25 for each URL there after. Click here for Positiontech.com.
Google – is an extremely important search engine to get listed with. Google’s results are heavily influenced by link popularity so make sure you get listed in Yahoo!, Looksmart, and Inktomi before you submit you site to Google. Click here to add your site to Google.

ODP – Finally we mention the Open Directory Project. This directory powers many of the major engines search results including, AOL, MSN, Netscape, Google, Lycos and many more. Click here to add your site to the ODP. Make sure you submit your site here after you are included into the others.
Once you have submitted you site to the major engines and are receiving a steady flow of traffic, you should be ready to start a Pay Per Click advertising campaign. Banner impression advertising – from what we have seen and read, this is not a cost effective form of advertising. You will end up spending far more than you can earn.
